Jean-Marc Agbogba is an African dance artist, choreographer and musician from Ivory Coast, West Africa, who has had over a decade of experience in his chosen field.
He arrived in South Australia in 2010 and established his own Dance Company “Sun of Africa” in 2011. During his career in Africa he was joint director and performer in the renown, award-winning Munlato Dance Company.
He later toured with the Mother Africa Circus as lead dancer and flautist. With both these companies he has toured many countries of Europe, as well as Russia, the Middle-East, Australia and New Zealand.
Since establishing his company he has performed in Adelaide at various private and school functions as well as at the Adelaide Come Out Festival and has performed in the 2011 Adelaide Fringe.
